This is my take
What has happened in the movie is that all humans including children 100 % has been killed consumed by aliens…..BUT ONE ANOMALLY CALLED NEWT….This little girl manages to survive only by the extreme care and undertake by God Himself every step of the way finally leading this little child fighting these HUGE MONSTERS just by running away from them…..
Moral of the story
It’s hard to kill when you have GOD BY YOUR SIDE.
